As an aspiring healthcare leader, I am seeking to combine my passion for healthcare with my interest in technology. During my time as an undergraduate, I received a major in healthcare management and fostered my interest in technology, culminating in a minor in human-centered computing. In the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to Intern at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. This experience allowed me to apply my skills by implementing the volunteer engagement strategic plan. My Healthcare Management and Policy coursework has given me knowledge about healthcare in the realms of insurance, reimbursement practices, ethics, strategic planning, as well as health information systems, and information management. It was during this time I decided to pursue a prestigious master's program in healthcare management through the Paul O'Neill School of Public and Environment Affairs and the Kelley School of Business. My hope is to impact healthcare by using the technology available, to improve health outcomes for all patients. I am especially interested in career opportunities as a health informaticist or clinical analyst.
