Hello world! My name is Matthew Gilbert and I'm Oregon State University graduate with a bachelors of science in Business Information Systems with a focus on entrepreneurship. I've been interested in technology and making as long as I can remember. When I was 7 I got my first set of tools, but my parents had to take them away because I wouldn't stop disassembling things around the house. I didn't learn how to put them back together until much later... During college I spent 4 years working at OSUs DAMLab Makerspace, and have become addicted to making thing and fixing problems. I helped start my first company STAG Rack my sophomore year, and exited 4 years later selling the company. I'm currently working as a 3D printing Applications Engineer at On Additive, turning my love of 3D printing into a career. In my free time I love to woodworking, work on cars and motorcycles, fix random things, take photographs and rock climb.
