I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University. I graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.4, and was included on the dean's list for five semesters while at Wright State, with highest honors in the Fall of 2016. I have completed three different large engineering projects, two of which I worked as part of a team on. These projects included: designing and fabricating a chair made entirely out of cardboard, designing and creating a model car loosely based on my personal car, and finally designing a beam for a crane.I bring a mechanical and design oriented perspective to the team at Microsun Lamps, where I serve as their lead, and only engineer. I utilize my skills at Microsun to help push the technology and design of residential lighting forward into the future. I worked at Emerson Climate Technologies as a Teamcenter Systems Engineering Co-op from January to August of 2016. I gained a large amount of knowledge and experience while at Emerson. I utilized multiple software packages including: Teamcenter, NX, Plant Simulate, Sharepoint, Excel, and Oracle UPK. I generated 3D CAD models from 2D AutoCAD engineering drawings using NX 10. I utilized information from small training sessions with other Engineers, as well as my own experience to create training material on NX 10, Teamcenter MPP, and Plant Simulate using Oracle UPK. My final, largest project involved teaching myself Siemens PLM Software Plant Simulate, and developing simulations of Emerson's assembly lines. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for a class on Matlab and Simulink, and have held multiple front of the house positions at Red Lobster.I am currently seeking to expand my professional network, gain new and innovative skills in Engineering, Lighting, Manufacturing, and most everything, and live a happy, fulfilling life!
