As a former Electronics Technician Nuclear for the United States Department of Defense, I have over six years of experience in operating and maintaining nuclear power plants on submarines. I have developed strong leadership and technical skills in electrical engineering, power engineering, and electrical safety, as well as a high level of reliability, discipline, and teamwork.I am currently a Computer Engineering Senior at Michigan Technological University, where I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree with an expected graduation in May 2024. I am passionate about combining my military background with my academic knowledge to create innovative and impactful solutions in the engineering and technology sectors. I have recently completed a four-month internship with the High Power team at Nucor Steel, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components.I am eager to explore new opportunities where I can leverage my diverse skill set and make a positive difference.
