About Matthew Harris

Formerly a founding board member and Investor Director, Matthew became Kao Data's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in September 2021.Previously Matthew was CFO at Goldacre Ventures. During his time with Goldacre Ventures Matthew oversaw a period of significant growth in clients and revenues and secured over £250m of funding for portfolio companies. Matthew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with experience across a range of private equity backed and listed businesses in the technology, manufacturing and investment sectors. Before his roles at Kao Data and Goldacre Ventures, Matthew held positions at Amino Technologies PLC, Harkness Screens, Man Investments and the National Audit Office. Matthew holds an MA in history from the University of Cambridge.
