With 30 years in both the public and private sector I specialized in servicing government talent needs. I can build an executable strategic plan, create an pipeline, and organize staff efforts in order to obtain results. I deeply understand the diverse needs of the service member / veteran and it is my life's work to bring attention to and support great programs that elevate that class.As the Strategic Impact Officer at AllegiantVets, I searched out and developed programs that drive veteran success across industries in order to meet the needs of the community and realize the CEO's vision. The COO and I work with a team of dedicated professionals who educate, train, counsel and prepare active duty service members for their post-service plans. My mission was to help them achieve a healthy and successful transition by connecting them with training, services, and programs that meet their needs and goals.Before joining AllegiantVets, I served as the Executive Director of the National Liberty Ship Memorial, a historic landmark and a tribute to the maritime industry. There, I oversaw all aspects of business, HR, fundraising, events, and preservation project management, working with cross-functional teams of staff, volunteers, and committees. I also leveraged my skills in customer relationship management, organizational leadership, and team building to enhance the visitor experience and the community outreach. I am passionate about supporting and honoring veterans and the maritime community, I am proud to be part of AllegiantVets, a dynamic nonprofit that makes a difference in the lives of service members and their families.
