I have extensive experience in advertising and marketing, particularly in the digital space, having begun work in this field in 1999 working on Fairfax sites at Grey. My sales experience goes back even further starting with my first job where I eventually managed both the sales and customer service teams, and a $35million annual budget, at the age of 23.My time with both DoubleClick and Yahoo! have provided a solid understanding of what it is like to work in an international office including the importance of effectively implementing processes, providing leadership, developing culture and, obviously, growing revenue through new business and ongoing account management. I have a great knowledge of the Australian market and lots of contacts both in the digital and corporate world as a result of my career.Whilst I have managed teams as large as 50, more recently I have honed my business management skills by running companies such as The White Agency as well as my own business which I founded, ran and sold. I am extremely committed to both staff and customers and believe both are integral components of building and operating a successful company where retaining and growing them will always achieve a better result.I have won, retained and grown many large strategic accounts and have a solution oriented, partnership approach to sales. I have worked in, or managed, a number of cross functional disciplines including sales, client service, production, administration, operations, creative and technology and I believe my level of strategic thinking and adherence to process and detail has resulted in successful outcomes no matter the challenge.I currently head the Commercial Partners Team at Nine Digital where we have grown the business by over 300% during my tenure while reducing the initial risk posed by an imbalance of revenue with a single client. This included newly signed long term partners across travel, wagering, comparison, marketplace, and classifieds.
