I am a masters student in computer science at Rice University. Prior to enrolling at Rice, I worked as a patent attorney drafting and prosecuting patent applications across a wide range of technologies. During this time, I developed my skills in clear communication, effective collaboration, efficient research, and technological understanding. Outside of my role as a patent attorney, I have worked on (and continue to work on) several software projects including full-stack web apps, iOS apps, and even a Windows app, and discovered that I deeply enjoyed architecting and writing code. Some time ago I decided to transition into a career in software engineering, and am currently working towards building the skills to make that transition successful.
