My current role is one where I wear a few hats. I am representing the fraud risk management team on multiple project initiatives. Training new developers in the fraud risk sector. Performing a lead developer role, providing feedback and QA for new ETL code deploys. Providing technical input for policy and compliance to meet Legal and Audit requirements. Train new developers on unique fraud aspects and data sources to create high quality reliable reporting tools using Cloudera Manager, Oracle, Sql server, Splunk, Hive, Impala, and most recently learning Python. Responsible for all aspects of building out and testing a new DR site for multiple teams in a Linux, Windows env. Everything from developing architecture requirements, validating server builds(vormetric, storage, server specs} to coordinating and testing Tableau setups. I recommend changes and priorotize our queue with project teams to address operational, security and product needs. I work closely with our Development and Production Operations group in a 24/7 support environment. I participate in platform enhancement projects to ensure reliability, and performance requirements are not adversely impacted.Serve as the point of escalation internally and externally for multiple teams to ensure product goals are defined with clear scope and expectations are understood, setting queue priority for dev staff. Provide day to day oversight of the systems and overall functionality and performance which includes recommendation and approval of changes to the application environment.Responsible for taking immediate action to resolve critical issues and problems related to platform(s) and performance.
