Vice President of Tax with a primary focus on providing tax oversight and compliance for State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) unregistered products. Act as the primary point of contact for all audits (internal, external, Tax and Financial Reporting) including ASC740 determinations. Operate as U.S. withholding agent for funds, ensuring proper withholding and reporting for non-resident investors (1042 and 1042S). Lead efforts in preparing U.S. Regulatory filings (FBAR). Work to ensure tax efficiency/optimization of our funds from a foreign withholding/capital gains tax perspective. Act as lead contact for all of our Tax Vendor/Tax agency relationships to ensure proper on-boarding, billing, preparation of foreign tax returns.

Supervised a team responsible for the expense budgeting, forecasting and analytics for over 100 mutual funds. Manage review of daily contractual fees, expense caps and ratios. Produced and reviewed expense related details published in the financial statements, SAI and prospectus. Led an effort to compile research material and memo's for presentation to Board of Trustee's.

Managed a staff of 7 employees providing full custody and accounting services for 24 mutual funds. Responsible for review of all daily fund packages for accuracy regarding cash balances, general ledger balances and pricing accuracy. Primary contact for audit and financial reporting related questions and disclosures in financial statements. Provided training to staff and established robust procedures for all processes.
