As a decision maker for several years for various companies the central theme for success is good planning. Beginning as an entrepreneur in consulting and later developing consulting divisions for other companies, as well as developing business for international product manufacturers, I learned the importance of strategic planning, fiscal discipline, and most important hiring and leading exceptional people. These experiences led me to challenging and successful positions throughout my career.Merging talent and ideas, forming partnerships, formulating value propositions for products and services summarize my tenure at various companies during my career. A vision and subsequent growth cannot be realized without the ability to clearly define and subsequently sell ideas first and foremost. Having the responsibility for the growth of several organizations I facilitated and fostered many successful business coalitions. It was imperative to form alliances with companies throughout the world. A company with the best technology or services is at its best with strategic alliances with highly motivated persons or organizations actively working as truly engaged global partners.Prior to building businesses, my aviation career instilled a deep sense of discipline into my DNA that remains one the most important factors in successfully managing the challenges of building or growing companies.My individual KPI’s include the ability to look through details and navigate from 30,000 feet to a successful destination. This also includes such metrics as building teams that are effective and a pleasure to work with, having sound, transparent, verifiable accounting systems in place, understand that the customer is central to the success of any company whether it involves services or products, and leadership with integrity.
