• Created an OOTB editing environment for the client to review and edit their data that we created in GIS from georeferencing as-built drawings. This provided the client with more control of their data in a GIS format and environment.• Managed, converted and presented client data in a GIS format in an effort for project stakeholders to have a spatial understanding of where their assets resided within the scope of the project. This data was presented as presentation quality static maps and in client dashboard maps.• Using ArcHydro tools, analysis was performed to identify subwater sheds and problem flood areas within them for a regional water district. The results were mapped and presented to the district in a data hub. The data hub allowed for municipalities to download data to for their municipality to estimate needed storage for stormwater runoff• Performed a trail gap analysis and designed an ESRI Survey123 app for a forest preserve district in an effort to expand and create more contiguous trail networks. This allowed the district to make informative decisions on trail location, cost and where other trails would tie in to each other.• In an effort to be proactive to rising lake levels a geodatabase was designed to aid in a park districts inventory of assets, land and land agreements. Providing this enabled the park district to use GIS in prioritizing areas in need of protection and to direct responsibility to the proper parties.

• Provided site suitability analysis (wind farms, solar farms, natural gas plants) that enabled an energy firm to target locations for renewable energy projects. We used a variety of techniques in land use and siting analysis. This included surface analysis and spatial analysis on raster and vector data. To garner more information about targeted sites, ESRI Collector apps were published to gather field data. These apps were designed for offline use given the lack of cell or internet coverage in remote areas.• Wind energy farms require land use management. Beginning with parcel data of the project area, we work with our client in the management of leased easements, boundaries and land use. This enabled the client to make decisions in the placement of wind turbines and associated infrastructure. Maps created were published to the clients ArcGIS Online portal. Here the client was able to use mapped land agreements as a tool or stakeholder meetings and to design the project.• A university was in need of a geometric network of its electrical system. A geometric network was created and as a tool for electricians to know where to cut power to complete work orders.• An oil refinery relied on pdf sketches of its fire management assets. Upgrading their database to a digital format required as-built drawings to be georeferenced as well as spreadsheets converted to data for the client.

• Assistant to the Belize Field class and professor. While in the field I organized students for departing flights, meals, group outings, and other relative accommodations.

• Assisted in implementing the "Gully Walkers" project. Friends of the Chicago was interested in an inventory of erosional gullies along the Chicago River. It was my responsibility to train volunteers on the use of GPS and the surveying of gullies. This data was then formatted into maps using ArcGIS. This project enabled the organization to win a grant for ecological restoration of the gullies.

• To keep students engaged during summer, I taught over 100 classes on basic geographic concepts. This included the use of GPS units and ArcGIS Online. Additionally, I aided teachers in creating GIS based research projects at an elementary level. The summer camp culminated in an end of summer showcase of the research projects by each class.• The Geographic Society of Chicago collaborated with the Boys and Girls Club in providing after-school educational enrichment including classes on basic geographic concepts and geographical environmental concepts.

• Coordinate data collection for the encyclopedia's map library. This data was used to populate a database to enable online map searches from the map library.

• High level task was to keep a fully staffed and functioning shop of 15 people and two shifts. This included scheduling to meet the needs of the business as well as the employees. purchasing, inventory control and machinery maintenance.• Parts and raw materials inventories and purchasing were targeted to void too little or too much scenarios.• Machinery maintenance scheduling was created. The regular maintenance reduced the down time of the machinery.• Relationships with customers and employees themselves were needed. This required interpersonal skills to negotiate customer problems, and to promote comradery in the shop.
