Matthew is a songwriter for Banshee Music, LLC. Banshee Music is bridging the gap between sports and the music industry. They connect songwriters with college and professional sports teams. (i.e. the NFL, NASCAR, NBA, NCAA Basketball & Football, ETC.) Recently FOX SPORTS added his song, "Get Off Your Seat," for the remainder of this NCAA basketball season.

Matthew teamed up with Kenny Olson of Kid Rock's band and recorded a heavy pop rock project, called The MotorFlys. In the summer of '08 they tracked at the historical Quad studios in Nashville, TN with esteemed Producer Greg Archilla. In the summer of ’02 Ligion’s self produced single, “Reality,” debuted on 102.9 the buzz top ten count down at Number 1 for three consecutive weeks and was the 17th most requested song on the station that year.Ligion began touring and playing in front of thousands from coast to coast in fall of ’02 through the summer of ’08. Each year averaging over 200 dates a year. Touring and sharing the stage with bands such as: NICKELBACK * SALIVA * CROSSFADE * VELVET REVOLVER * COLDPLAY * 3 DAYS GRACE * COLLECTIVE SOUL * LIVE * STONE TEMPLE PILOTS * MATCHBOX 20 * TESLA * CHEVELLE * 3 DOORS DOWN *MUDVAYNE * STAIND * and many more…In ’05 - Matthew began working regularly with Kip Winger the singer/bass player of WINGER. Most of ’05 was spent working on the craft of song writing and vocal training/strengthening. In ’06 - Current: Matthew began co-writing with the highly decorated Nashville songwriter, Blair Daly (hits include songs performed by Rascal Flatts, Uncle Kraker, Backstreet Boys.) Blair and Matthew have written a hand full of songs including Ligion’s single, “Get Over Me.”Also in ’06 - Ligion signed a record and major distribution deal with Bellum/ Maple Jam Records & Transworld Distribution. Ligion then recorded a full-length album between Nashville and LA with Grammy winning producer, Greg Ladanyi.
