I serve as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief of Staff for Direct Supply, Inc., an employee-owned company in Milwaukee. Direct Supply focuses on enhancing senior care through innovative technology, supply chain solutions, building services, and advocating for stong public policy.During my nearly 20 years at Direct Supply, I’ve been deeply involved in shaping our legal framework, corporate governance, and strategic direction, helping drive the company’s expansion both nationally and internationally. As a member of our company's management team, I work in partnership with my colleagues as we work to transform to an AI-first technology company, continuously add more value for our customers, and drive growth and profitability.As Chief of Staff, I ensure we meet our commitments, I facilitate our management team’s agendas and communications, and serve as an advisor to our Chairman and CEO. I also led the implementation and currently oversee of our goal-setting framework (OKRs), ensuring alignment between strategy and execution across the organization. In my versatile role, I oversee a wide array of legal matters, including governance, compliance, risk management, and intellectual property, while also providing executive leadership for key administrative functions like community relations, political programs, and campus operations and expansion. I’ve also played a lead role in Direct Supply’s crisis response efforts, including the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring safety and business continuity.I serve as corporate Secretary and work closely with the Board of Directors, having designed and led strategic planning sessions, onboarded new members, and prepared for future succession. I also serve as a board member for the Direct Supply Foundation, our holding company, and Direct Supply Senior Living Advocacy, Inc. Before joining Direct Supply, I worked as in-house counsel at Legacy Health System in Portland, Oregon, and practiced corporate, healthcare, and employment law at von Briesen & Roper. I hold an Executive MBA and a BA in Economics and International Relations from Marquette University, along with a JD from UW-Madison. Outside of work, I am passionate about giving back to the community. I co-founded “Chasing Chad,” a non-profit dedicated to supporting brain tumor patients and research. I’m also a member of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, and I previously served as President of the Wisconsin Association of Corporate Counsel. My volunteer experience also extends to past roles with Marquette University and the Wisconsin State Bar.
