20 years in technology with 15+ years of experience as a Product Leader, leading across search, e-commerce, subscription businesses, data visualization, product design, and product inclusion. I have consistently partnered closely with executives, investors, and advised strategic acquisitions. What sets me apart from other product leaders is what I call “applied literacy.” I am constantly reading, learning, and traveling. This need to understand the world informs my work directly. I redesigned Paysa’s compensation visualization and user experience based on the Tokyo subway system. I designed my first app based on the Fibonacci sequence. I invented an inclusion framework for all vulnerable communities based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). My talent to apply my literacy to problem solve and think creatively is just like Tess McGill in Working Girl, and is the unique quality that distinguishes me from my peers. I’m proud of my track record of delivering results, especially through zero-to-one product development, product redesigns, and strategic initiatives. My product design for Kosmix’s search service resulted in 50% increase in consumer engagement year-over-year. I led the creation of Walmart’s first subscription box service, growing subscribers from 0 to 100,000 in 6 months. I led the redesign of Paysa’s data service, rapidly ramping sign-ups by 200% month-over-month. At Indeed, I led the first global accessibility program, transforming 12 product teams through the remediation of over 6000 accessibility violations. While impact matters, it is important to note I consistently exceed projected goals. This is due to being a compassionate leader and skilled people manager.
