I am Matthew born and grew up here in Singapore, and currently studying at Republic Polytechnic, Year 2 in the Diploma in Health Management and Promotion. I go for weekly hikes and I am passionate about volunteering for service learning. Previous vacation, I was involved in an online overseas exchange program, where I had the chance to work with students from Cebu Normal University to come up with ideas on how to engage those who were disconnected from society by suggesting a game to chat and connect with them. During my free time, I enjoy playing video games with my friends or catch up with them in person be it via a cafe or through sports. One of my recent milestones of my Polytechnic life was that I was appointed overall-in-charge of a camp for my school's club SHL Club. It was my first time handling such a a large scale event and it has broaden my persepective on being an organiser and a leader at the same time. All in all, a quote that often spurs me on during difficult days when i feel down "Argue not what a good man should be, Be one" - Marcus Aurelius
