Through my team, I manage the certification program for all global Appian practitioners, the development of supporting instructor-led technical training , delivery of all internal training to technical employees expected to become experts on Appian shortly after hiring, and the publication of best practice content for customers and partners alike. Collectively, Appian delivers thousands of hours of training to practitioners all over the world. Through the pandemic, we remained nimble and adapted our curriculums for delivery through remote, hybrid, and in person avenues. Along the way, we moved beyond classic lecture and demonstration to fully embrace hands-on simulations of live projects so that students were further immersed in success with Appian.Through launching the Appian Certification Program, we brought a fledgling testing regime up to industry standard and have created one of the most desired and fastest-growing Certification Programs in the world.

I control the development and implementation of instructor-based product training curriculum on the Appian platform. Furthermore, I mange the training and development of all instructors through the use of feedback, evaluation, and continuing education. In this role, I directly manage six instructors/curriculum developers.Collectively, the Appian training team delivers thousands of hours of instruction worldwide. We help organizations implement low-code software development in all of their mission-critical systems. Additionally, the training team provides instruction to all of Appians technical personnel, including consultants, pre-sales, support, and engineering divisions.

The training team provides and ensure high-quality training on integrating Appian into business analysis, process design, application development, and administration. Our team helped customers understand Agile project management, software life cycle, and business analysis techniques. Furthermore, I oversaw the technical training and development of new employees via the intensive Appian Academy program, which trains all new hires in Appian product usage and reduces the amount of time required to become fully capable. Lastly, I provided guidance on instructional design and instructor development, ensuring a consistent high-quality training experience from any Appian instructor.

Served as Chief of Information Operations & Plans for enhancing Air Force Space and Nuclear training. A hybrid role of both traditional IT service management and instructional design management. We developed creative technology-based curriculum tools using a variety of interactive authoring software including Adobe Captivate, Creative Cloud, SMART Notebook, and provided IT support for all related systems. To do that, I managed a multidisciplinary team of 16 IT, cybersecurity, and instructional system designers supporting 275 training personnel and 1100 students per year. We maintained 2,800 IT assets valued at $3.2M and ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity policy. Additionally, I advised executive leadership on IT requirements, provided input for strategic planning, and handled IT change management for new solutions. Lastly, I provided oversight on eight IT, security, and emergency programs affecting 1500 military and civilian personnel.

I managed seven Air Force instructors and two curriculum development experts responsible for providing over 15,000 hours of initial and recurring training on the fundamentals of ISD, ADDIE methodology, curriculum design, and public speaking skills. Fundamentally, we "trained the trainers." We maintained seven SACS accredited courses and developed new local instruction based on feedback from evaluators, compliance inspectors, and other instructors. We also collaborated with other training organizations on the development of new courses relating to blended learning development and resource advisement.

We guided 300 junior Intercontinental Ballistic Missile operations officers per year through a rigorous 100 day course of instruction utilizing variety of instructional methods and a $6M simulator. The ultimate goal is to supply ever more talented junior operators to support the Air Force nuclear deterrence mission. Along the way, we developed new and inventive training methods to assist young lieutenants in achieving the very high standards expected of them as operations officers. I also served as project manager for several key security and document library functions.

Led four-member team in managing $18M worth of critical ICBM secure code systems. We liaised with National Security Agency and US Strategic Command for proper implementation of encryption algorithms. Ultimately, we were the single point of contact for directing launch coding operations for 150 Minuteman III ICBMs and 15 ICBM launch control centers. As an instructor, I created and provided over 2,500 hours of instruction per year to over 400 ICBM operations and maintenance personnel per month. Additionally, I also managed the unit's nuclear safety program in support of ICBM operations.

I directed a two-person crew with oversight of an operational Intercontinental Ballistic Missile squadron controlling 150 nuclear-tipped ICBMs, 5 Launch Control Centers, and 50 personnel. As an instructor, I created and provided monthly operational instruction to 170 combat crew members and senior staff in both classroom and a $2M simulator environment- a position reserved for the top 15% of crew commanders.
