I studied philosophy and psychology at St. Francis Xavier University. My main area of research was AI ethics and the alignment problem. I also served as VP of External Affairs in government relations and advocacy role representing students nationwide. I currently work at Higher Education Strategy Associates in Toronto, Ontario, where I am a researcher and support consulting projects in academic planning, institutional strategy and government relations.My analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities make me well-suited to the challenges of the legal field, and I hope to pursue a future education in law. Specifically, I hope to combine my interests in technology, jurisprudence and public policy to promote the Canadian sector and to guide transformative technologies in a direction that protects the vulnerable and benefits everyone. As I continue to learn and grow, I look forward to exploring new opportunities and taking on new challenges.
