With over 25 years experience in the mortgage, Matthew Evans now works as a retirement mortgage planner (reverse mortgage specialist) with loanDepot. His professional passion and primary focus is helping seniors by providing retirement solutions using the HECM reverse mortgage loan for estate and financial planning. He takes special pride in the opportunity to educate seniors about how the reverse mortgage loan works. This passion began nearly 15 years ago after the 2008 housing crash, which led to Matthew opening his own reverse mortgage company, Certified Reverse Mortgage, in 2014. Over the years his passion for helping seniors has only grown. Matthew appreciates the opportunity to dispel myths and clear up any and all misunderstandings about this fantastic retirement tool. His focus is creating unique retirement strategies utilizing equity assets in retirement with the traditional reverse mortgage, and the HECM for purchase (H4P). As a newer Texan, Matthew enjoys staying fit with his Peloton, spending time with family, making new friends, and being involved with his local church and life group.
