• Served as lead technical director, producer, editor streaming media engineer for BNET, the State Dept.’s internal television station that broadcasted and streamed to all State Dept. offices locally and embassies and consulates worldwide. ➢ Directed daily live broadcasts of Sec. of State speeches, press conferences, meetings with heads of states, plus daily press briefings and other State Dept. events and conferences.➢ Produced and edited commercials for broadcast for State Dept. internal clients. (State Veterans, State Magazine.) Documented Consular Affairs’ special events, ceremonies, and meetings with video and still photography. ➢ Curated and managed the large Video on Demand(VoD) System for the station.➢ Photographer for live events at the State Dept.

Media Relations, Creative Script Writing/Story Development, Producing, and Directing: Served as sole video producer for Consular Affairs’ New Media team. Provided services to the Bureau’s 1,000 staff with an annual budget over $2.4M. Created video content and managed all video production operations:➢ Produced and directed a video for the Passport Office entitled "Recipe for Applying for a U.S. Passport in Person" in April 2015. The video has been viewed on YouTube over 120,000 times since its release, already placing it in the top 5 most viewed videos all time on the DOS’s YouTube channel.➢ Wrote, produced and directed a video for the Passport Office on passport validity that was presented at the White House Travel Bloggers’ Summit in January 2015. Created a marketing and distribution strategy for videos. Outreach included utilizing DOS’s social media channels, Consular Affair’s website (travel.state.gov), and direct engagement with other stakeholders such as travel agencies, passport acceptance facilities, airlines associations, and worldwide embassies.➢ Documented Consular Affairs’ special events, ceremonies, and meetings with video coverage and still photography.

➢ Successfully managed the overall operations of a broadcast studio for US State Dept. that puts on global webcasts for the purposes of public diplomacy.➢ Produced and directed weekly news style programs in our studio for live globally streamed broadcasts. Incorporated Skype guests, motion graphics, lower-thirds, and green screen for high production value programs. ➢ Created content for the Wordpress run Web Portal for the State Dept's IIP Bureau. Videoconferencing/Broadcast Engineer Mar 2012 to Apr 2013 - Alexandria, VA ➢ Successfully supported the day to day technical AV/VTC requirements for the Conference Center at the Mark Center that houses 27 conference rooms plus a large Auditorium.➢ Produced, directed, and post-produced live streaming webcast events in the broadcast auditorium ➢ Managed and coordinated Codian Videoconferencing Bridge(MCU) and Tandberg Management System (TMS) ➢ Worked with vendors to resolve equipment issues, maintain service inventory, and procure new AV system upgrades.➢ Performed monthly/yearly AV budget analysis for cost cutting measures that saved $1000's.

➢ Provide technical design and IT/digital broadcast engineering support for the Air Force's AV and videoconferencing systems.Managed and Scheduled VTC's for the Air Force's classified Videoconferencing Network.➢ Completed installation projects and upgrades including: VTC codecs, plasma displays, LCR Projections, and Smart Boards.

➢ Successfully supported Army customers on all of their VTC requirements in a number of locations including the Pentagon, the Army-Navy Yard, Rosslyn, and Crystal City. ➢Custom designed conference rooms and offices with new VTC equipment, plasma screens, wireless mics, speakers, LCD projectors for new requirements or upgrades to existing rooms.➢Produced and directed streaming video for live events at the Pentagon.Managed, configured, and troubleshot VTC systems Tandberg/Cisco, and Polycom using Tandberg Management System (TMS). Used MGC Manager to schedule, bridge, manage and troubleshoot VTC calls. Responded to VTC issues/problems for VIP's trouble tickets in an expedient manner.
