I am a web developer on a team that works on both the backend (drupal) and the frontend (react/remix and tailwinds/css) of the Encore Nexus application used by our faculty. We update code (php) for better functionality and security of the Nexus app, and create new functionality to better Encore's software for the future. I also work with our team to create a new and improved frontend experience using the latest technologies that communicates via api to our Drupal backend. I also take part in the QA process to try and mitigate any problems that could be introduced through my teammate's code changes.

Working for Siemens (Building Automation Systems) I worked closely with electricians, tin knockers, and mechanical contractors to install, set up, and commissioned HVAC systems for High Risers, Hospitals, Universities, and other venues in the metro Boston area. This included setting up Siemens DXR and TEC controllers to work with different sensors and systems to maintain the appropriate environment for commercial offices, and laboratories. I mainly dealt with BACNet/Ethernet communications, but worked with modbus when needed. I assisted with data back-up from data servers and the creation of automated back-up procedures. I also supported in the troubleshooting and resolution of inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations. I assisted IT with the set-up and configuration of PC workstations and user interfaces and supported the confirmation of proper network performance.
