Dr. Matthew Lippincott Email and Phone Number

Dr. Lippincott has worked with Dr. Daniel Goleman for years to provide leadership and performance consulting services. He is a Strategic Advisor to the Emotional Intelligence initiative and EPIC Leadership program at Amazon, and has also provided services for Bank of America, Google, Gilead Sciences, KBC Group, MIT, IIM and others. Dr. Lippincott has also held corporate leadership roles, funded and led businesses, and is a certified leadership coach/coach trainer. He holds a Doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania specializing in leadership and EI, which was supervised by Business Week’s “high priestess of executive coaching,” Primal Leadership co-author Dr. Annie Mckee.As one of the original team members, Matthew played a critical role in the design, creation and delivery of the products and solutions offered by Goleman EI. He completed his Doctoral work at the University of Pennsylvania, where his award-winning research investigated the relationship between leadership effectiveness, EI, and mindfulness. He is peer reviewed and Harvard Business Review published, has contributed to multiple EI reference books, and has written 18 articles focused on leadership and EI. Dr. Lippincott has previously held leadership roles at two global software companies, SAS Institute and i2 Technologies (now jda), where he managed operations and teams in North America and Europe. He has also raised capital, transformed business models, and held leadership positions with smaller organizations. Matthew has worked as an outdoor guide and tribal youth counselor, and been a Junior Olympic competitor in Tae Kwon Do. He volunteers as an instructor for children and adults in Tae Kwon Do and Krav Maga. Matthew has presented his research for Bank of America, the UN, ATD, University of Virginia and University of Pennsylvania, and is a leadership and EI keynote speaker, coach, workshop leader and training product developer. Dr. Lippincott is also faculty with the National Park Service GOAL Academy Leadership Development Program, and the Goleman EI Emotional Intelligence Coaching Certification (EICC) program supporting 100+ participants per year.
