    I joined iRobot to build out the company’s communications function. iRobot is a company of inventors and entrepreneurs, and the organization needed someone to articulate the brand’s narrative as the company grew and evolved. It has been an amazing journey, crafting that message and telling the story to consumers and employees in different cultural contexts. I have seen iRobot grow from a relatively unknown robotics solution provider to a publicly traded consumer robot company with a $2B market cap that’s changing the way the world sees home robotics. Since 2022, I’ve played an integral part in shaping the narrative around Amazon’s proposed $1.7B acquisition of iRobot.In my role, I partner with the executive team to create a narrative that positions iRobot as a global technology innovator and growth company while driving visibility and adoption of leading consumer robots. I manage all external and internal communications and focus on branding, marketing, employee engagement, media relations, creative services, social media, and community outreach campaigns.Strategic communications and crisis communications are important aspects of my work, and I lead the development and execution of communication strategies related to acquisitions, change management, lawsuits, crisis response, and other challenging situations that arise in rapidly growing tech companies. It’s my job to get ahead of emergent issues as they unfold, understand the reality and perceptions around a given issue, and then distill and communicate the company’s position in a way that’s understandable and digestible by key internal and external constituents. The best thing about my job is being on the front lines of storytelling and creating a brand that’s improving people’s lives around the world.
