Being raised in a family of immigrants from Communist Poland who came to this country after WWII with nothing and created a life for themselves, I learned lessons that have served me throughout my personal and professional life. I saw that success came through hard work, grit and resourcefulness, and that anything is possible with focus and determination. I also learned the importance of humility and respect for others, whoever they are and from wherever they come.Today as a life sciences executive and business builder I leverage those insights in identifying market opportunities and developing breakthrough products to capture them. An agile member of senior leadership I have been appointed to lead multiple business units and operating companies based on unique combination of scientific knowledge and executive acumen. I am recognized for ability to build and lead high performing teams, developing and implementing strategies that promote brand awareness and improve revenues, and for leading valuation, acquisition, and merger of small companies/product lines. Through strategic thinking, deep subject matter knowledge, vision, sound judgement and a bias for action I deliver results in key performance areas. Highlights…Executive Leadership – Built and drove business plans along with multi-functional teams to deliver on stretch goals in complex market segments, in many cases generating double digit improvements across multiple KPIs. Revenue and Profit Growth – Increased top and bottom lines by six and seven figures through organic/acquisition growth and e-commerce while strengthening competitive position. Refocused commercial team from order takers to lead generators/hunters. Converted customers to new products increasing margin.Workflow and Process Improvement - Improved infrastructure and deployed resources to oversee operations and customer service.Market Penetration and Expansion - Added new OEMs and international distribution partners; grew product distribution globally. Established BrilliantDye as primary alternative to market leader’s (ThermoFisher) product. Increased number of EdgeBio accounts by more than 25% in US where sales are direct.Brand Building - Refreshed branding of six Calibre Scientific operating companies and developed genetic disease branding of same items for TessArae.
