Worked on a retro game in C and 6502 assembly (60fps on a 1.8MHz processor). Built command line workflow tools with Python. Developing a prototype in Godot and C#.

Developed and maintained websites in Django, Wordpress, and custom PHP. I worked with a large number of AWS products (EC2, ELB, CloudFront, S3, etc). I managed DevOps for our team and migrated quite a few servers and services. I also dealt with security in AWS with IAM and GuardDuty as well as making sure we had a backup plan. MySQL database replication was also something I managed.I worked in a team environment and answered other developers questions when needed.

I worked on several web-based games and a mobile iOS game. I also developed a 2D game engine in C++ and OpenGL that we used for prototyping as well as the porting a library from AS3 to Haxe.

I maintained and improved an e-filing system for benefit providers. Initially the system only processed 5 files per week but after I made improvements we were processing 150+ a week, estimated at $1 million in revenue by my leaders. I also worked with WebSphere TX for an operational data store in DB2. It required efficient SQL processing millions of transactions per day.

I helped 5-8 students learn to play piano and held annual recitals. My students ranged from beginner to intermediate. This started my passion for wanting to help other people with the work I do.
