A skilled and experienced Project Director/Consultant, having worked at the most senior levels within private sector/regulated utilities/government, and has also briefed Ministers, Secretary of State, MPs and other executive level stakeholders.I am an expert in strategy, governance and process relating to the acquisition, management, and disposal of land on major infrastructure schemes and the required delivery models. I also have extensive experience of land acquisition under Compulsory Purchase powers through hybrid Bills, DCOs, TWAOs and similar.I have gained a unique insight into the challenges and issues that arise in delivering land for major infrastructure programmes, having successfully delivered consultancy services on HS1, Crossrail, Thames Tideway Tunnel, Heathrow Expansion and HS2 representing the UK’s five largest infrastructure projects in recent years. I have established the necessary governance, strategy, and associated processes for ensuring projects are safeguarded from legal challenge (such as Judicial Review). I have also established regulatory regimes to ensure best outcomes for the consumer, implementing review/assurance frameworks and protocols to ensure economic and efficient outcomes on major land deals.
