Held the Head of Design role, nominated EASA/MAA Form 4 position, within Gama Engineering Ltd supporting both the EASA DOA and UK MAA DAOS.Some of my responsibilities included:- Managing the EASA Part 21J and MAA DAOS design organisation against regulatory approval manuals and procedures and in accordance with company policies for ISO9001 and SMS.- Providing leadership and direction to the design department personnel.- Financial accountability for the design department.- Management of the customer interface for the design department including overall control over preparation of quotations and tenders, addressing complaints and engaging with customers at all levels.- Routine staff appraisals in accordance with company policy, assisting in identifying and implementing training requirements.- Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions and to the relevant authorities.
