After receiving a masters in mechanical engineering, the university hired me as a research assistant to perform contract work and work with a variety of doctorate projects.I gained experience in using various pieces of equipment from thermo analysis machinery, universal material testing machines to the use of electronics microscopes. I worked at the University until I obtained my skilled work visa for Australia.

Had two years military training with the reserve B unit Oxford Officer Training Corps. Training included basic soldier training for the first year, this involved learning practices on the field such as weapons handling, general equipment admin and a variety of communication techniques as well as acquiring key battle skills and tactics. Year 2 was designed to build the key foundations as a member of the army and gave experience allowing me to empathize and understand a soldiers mindset in a variety of plausible situations. Second year training was focused on officer skills which further developed battle tactics, practiced troop management, organisation and logistics. Learning to give clear direct battle orders to Platoon sized groups of up to 30 soldiers then calmly and confidently carrying out preplanned battle plans in a difficult and stressful environments to successfully carry out given tasks.

President of Brookes 3rd biggest sports club (water sports) which includes a variety of water bound sports such as sailing, surfing, wakeboarding, kayakinging and windsurfing. Also attend Oxford University officer training corps and completed mod Bravo training.

Out of Semester time, I would work full time as a Waiter and Barista at Wakehurst Place.

In my spare time I coach hockey for Sussex
