I have the opportunity to work with partners to grow their business with VMware and Ingram Micro. This includes helping advance them through the partner stack by delivering initial trainings, uncover complimentary technologies that can be used in their environment, and ensuring the combination of hardware and software fits all the needs of the end clients appropriately the first time. I also review additional services with partners and their end users on certain deals for either mentored installs on opportunities or to prevent the overextension of the technical teams they employ.

Liaison to the many different facets of the business units within Ingram Micro regarding the Cisco Data Center Architecture. Raising awareness of the Cisco UCS Build to Order program (BTO) within Ingram Micro and the Partner community. Managing inventory requests based on pipeline and providing updates regarding Cisco Partner usage. Engaging with the Ingram Micro Cisco Data Center Tech Support Team to help discuss new Data Center products / technology and promotional programs. Work with Cisco Data Center partners on larger more complex opportunities.Daily activities require and has required focus on Cisco Ecosystem partners such as IBM for Versastack, Nimble for Smartstack, SimpliVity for Omnistack, and EMC for VSPEX. Includes reviewing solutions with appropriate Vendor, quoting configurations, and providing best direction for procurement. I also review the level of integration needed before shipment for example racking and cabling and potential software installation (VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, or Custom image). I also have served as an escalation point for hardware integration teams specific to Cisco UCS and Nexus switching.

Provide Partners with Pre-Sales Technical support for Cisco Collaboration and Data Center systems. Configure complicated builds and ensure the Partner has the correct solution for the end user. Actively engage in conversation with the end user on the Partner's behalf to understand the their needs and help bridge the critical gap between Partner and end user. The partner is then furnished with a configuration that has been validated against Cisco configuration tools. Important Cisco information based on the Partner's concerns and questions is also noted as easy reference material for better engagement with their end user.Help to manage a team of Cisco Data Center pre-sales technicians. This involves training, updating, and learning about new Cisco technologies and products. Assist in pre-configuration for physical installation of C-Series, B-Series Server builds as well as Nexus Data Center switches. Work with other lead technicians who support the different Cisco architectures to help our pre-sales teams understand cross-architecture designs and implementations.

During my time at Walgreens, I supported 64 stores with within the state of New York. This support was specifically targeted to computer based hardware components such as servers, workstations, CCTV, and networking appliances. Once a problem was identified by a store then a ticket was opened for troubleshooting. Phone support was the first level provided, if there were continued issues then the a second level of support would be provided by the DTR team. This was accomplished in two different ways, phone support with shipping replacement units and the other was to go onsite for more in-depth troubleshooting and resolution.
