Matthew is a Consultant in Accenture's Connected Spaces practice within Accenture Digital. He focuses on designing and delivering digital real estate transformation and human centered IoT technologies within the built environment. Matthew trained as an Architect and is an Incorporated Mechanical Engineer.He is currently working to make our new Centre for Innovation, one of the most connected buildings in the world.Before this, Matthew delivered a heating, ventilation and air conditioning programme for a leading TelCo over 3m sq ft across the world. This saved thousands of tonnes of CO2 and over a million dollars. Matthew also has experience in energy analysis and audits, built environment sustainability and real estate strategy. Before joining Accenture, Matthew was an analyst at a tier 1 investment bank.Matthew is the ACG Corporate Citizenship Lead, championing the Skills to Succeed and environmental agenda for our 1000 analysts in the UK.Matthew holds a masters degree in Structural Engineering & Architecture. As an advocate for the advancement of the built environment, Matthew holds a position on the CIBSE Intelligent Buildings Group and was key note speaker at the international smart buildings conference in Amsterdam earlier this year.
