As the Member Relations and Marketing Coordinator, I was responsible for recruiting and on-boarding new members to the Chamber, as well as working with existing members to ensure they were maximizing their ROI through various services and member benefits. I was also primarily responsible for the overall marketing and communications of the Chamber. This includes social media marketing, content marketing, creating and distributing weekly/monthly digital and print communications, and creating promotional materials regarding the many services provided by the Chamber.

I was brought on as a Policy Analyst by the BCITSA for a short-term project based initiative to update their existing internal policy manual, which included language pertaining to all of their varied departments, from human resources to marketing to childcare operations. Throughout my time in this position, I researched the approaches taken by comparable organizations, as well as looked into applicable provincial and federal legislation to ensure that our language was still compliant. With this, I reorganized the existing documentation into a much more accessible format, and added additional language as required. I worked with many of BCITSA's 100+ staff members to ensure that the language I was using met the needs of every department within the organization.
