On 9/11 I was scraping clarifiers in sewage package plants in southern WV. My first job after college humbled and grounded me. My earliest years were spent grinding and learning, particularly about water treatment and regulations. Later I transitioned from an individual contributor to a leader of teams. Every big win in my 20 year career has been shared with others. When your team succeeds you succeed. I’m a technical services and operations professional driven by culture and motivated by change. While navigating permitting processes intertwined with a web of regulations, I help sustain and create good business opportunities in the mining and aggregates world. I’m part scientist, part lawyer, and part used car salesman (though I only have a science degree and haven’t sold anything since Big Screens at Sears in the 90s).
