• SQL Coding: In an effort to obtain data in a format that offered only what I was looking for and provided a unique identifier, I wrote code in Snowflake for several different data pulls used for LAG utilization analysis to facilitate LAG augments and disconnects where needed.• Program Creation: Created two different programs that required coordination with several different departments for the U-Verse Platform. One was a new circuit/link type disconnection process and the other was a particular router type decommissioning process.• Forecasting: Determined number of cards that we could reclaim and disconnects we could perform based on various factors including network growth, link upgrades that were projected to finish and past experience.• LAG Link Augments & Disconnects: Submitted augment & disconnect orders for 10G links that were parts of LAG groups when their utilization levels warranted as such.• Card Reclamation: Analyzed cards in the Lightspeed/U-Verse ALU 7x50 network for opportunities to reclaim end of life cards for use in other parts of the network, reclaimed over $13,000,000 in cards on the year (2024). • Projections & EOM Reporting: Updated shared slide-decks in the Director’s Power Point for monthly updates to upper management.• How To Document/Job-Aids: Authored multiple Job-Aids as I was the only person in the company performing this work.

• Performed installation, test, turn-up and troubleshooting of SONET, TDM, DWDM, IP or Ethernet based equipment at Zayo Huts, cell towers, rooftops and on customer premises.• Managed with diligence, the repair of problems found at Zayo sites, such as faulty HVAC units, alarm wiring, backup generators and other critical ISP facility components to ensure network reliability.• Met with customers during outages while helping to provide a positive outlook; that Zayo was doing everything they could to restore their service quickly, while doing repairs myself, as directed by the NCC.

• Worked in high volume, high efficiency customer-facing Network Operations Center while specializing in fault isolation with high levels of communication to our customers and upper management. • Troubleshot, configured & repaired Native Ethernet, Cisco Psuedowire T1, E1, DS3, MPLS, VLAN, OCn, SDH, GIG-E and other transport protocols remotely using telnet & GUI EMS interfaces.• Kept detailed logs on events and actions taken to restore customer circuits, also sent out Outage Flashes and HAZCON notifications to senior management to keep them abreast of the latest news in the ongoing efforts to restore service.

Network Operations Center Tech - Remotely troubleshoots SONET, DWDM, GIG-E and other transport telecom circuits.

• Coordinated with Systems Engineers, Field Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure timely and proper installation of DWDM Systems, primarily with Cisco 15454 ONS and Fujitsu FW7500.

• Detail Engineered & Project Managed transport projects for AT&T –Southwest Region on equipment such as the Cisco 15454 MSPP, Fujitsu FW4000 series muxes and IP solutions such as the Juniper MX480 and Cisco 7600. Also gained experience with AutoCad. • In charge of implementing an ISO-9000 compliant process design for a mobile warehouse management system that saved the company money on overtime hours paid by allowing an identical, inventoried and QA inspected mobile warehouse to be deployed at the beginning of each week without the need to restock over the weekend.

Contract Engineer for Sprint's NEIS division. Wrote installation specifications and submitted drawings to drafting team for bay and floor layouts. Managed 140+ projects for DWDM, SONET, MAN transport installation and a few IP jobs as well.

• Transport Operations Engineering Role: Restored optical network outages by remotely configuring alternate fiber optic routes and utilized proprietary databases to find said routes in a high intensity, fast paced Network Operation Center to re-engineer and then test and turn-up new rings where “cut” fibers, inclimate weather and other technical failures had caused catastrophic outages. This helped restore the network at a rate that catapulted our region to the top of Network Reliability for our organization.• Network Center Technician/SONET Network Analyst: Gained extensive experience testing, isolating trouble, turning up rings and restoring outages and FCC Reportable simplex conditions on DS/T and higher circuits (up to OC192) by utilizing TL1 commands and having broad knowledge of SONET signal flow resulting in increased network reliability and fewer fines from the FCC. Personally this resulted in a detailed understanding of SONET signal flow.• Project Manager Role: Maintained web log for FCC Reportable DS3, OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192 outages which helped aid in troubleshooting when shift changes mandated fresh eyes on a problem. This resulted in the fewest fines from the FCC of any region within AT&T’s Network Operation Centers.

Worked as part of a team that overhauled aircraft for TWA's fleet of aircraft. Including rewinding electric motors, generators and alternators and building wiring harnesses.

• Inspected, tested, calibrated and repaired avionics equipment on the AH-1W Super Cobra and UH-1N Huey helicopters. Troubleshot and repaired electric components including radio, encrypted radio, RADAR, SATCOM, and missile systems.• Supervised and trained new avionics technicians to ensure quality of maintenance.• Tested avionics equipment under simulated and actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness.
