I am an undergraduate student at the University of Manchester, studying Chemical Engineering with a Year in Industry. I am currently moving into my fourth and final year of the course after completing a year in industry at Edwards Ltd., Clevedon. In this role I was based in the Core Technology team in which I performed research and development projects based on abatement technologies. Within this year I also wrote my final dissertation on one of these projects regarding chemically absorbent materials in a packed bed reactor. I am a strong individual player than can be easily be integrated within a team and perform to my highest capabilities. When completing tasks I am able to critically think about the work that is needed along with using problem solving solving skills attained through my degree and industrial experience. With both my skills learnt and experience of a working environment I am able to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
