Overview:Primarily worked in a field position conducting environmental site assessments which included Phase I site inspections, Phase II intrusive studies, and Phase III remedial techniques adhering to regulatory requirements.Skills:-Daily requirement to lead site safety meetings and lead contractors.-Conducting field tasks figuring out site logistics for best course of action.-Coordinate with colleagues to relay site specifics in clear and concise manner.-Keep organized documentation in field books to ensure accuracy and reliability.-Liaison between contractors and colleagues to schedule field meeting times.-Equipment troubleshooting/repair/maintenance.Training:-WHIMIS 2015-Standard First Aid-Ministry of Labour Supervisor Training-CFO Safety Orientation-LPS Standard and Supervisor Training-H2S Gas Detection-Bear AwarenessProjects: -Site monitoring of formal retail Gas Stations and Bulk Stations throughout BC, AB, SK, MN and ON performing groundwater monitoring and various sampling techniques. Sampling for BTEX/F1, F2-F4, VOC's, Dissolved Metals/Mercury, PCB, Potability, Sulphate, Chromium, ect.-Diesel and Gas tank removal for historical site; gas station closure. Responsible for tank next excavation profiling, sampling and logging as well as geotechnical borehole drilling investigation.-In Situ Chemical Oxidation injection events in remedial efforts for contaminated site recording field observations.-Dig and dump remedial activities removing contaminated soil/water as well as sampling and tracking excavated material.
