At Reframe, I was brought on to add strategic and design leadership to a young startup, where I was given significant responsibility and faced considerable ambiguity in defining design direction. Within my first year, I established a cohesive design system and streamlined processes that elevated product consistency and efficiency across teams. My ability to adapt quickly, tackle complex challenges, and scale design practices to fit the company’s growth needs made a notable impact on our product quality and team alignment.

Perhaps you’ve seen Matt Nagy around. He’s here at 4:17 AM every morning- doing stuff. Making stuff. Honing his craft. He’s worked on some amazing projects over the last few years, and led design efforts on many as well. He brings a critical eye, a passion for design and an ability to craft thoughtful solutions to complex problems to many of Genuine’s clients. And over the last 3 years, he’s shown the same diligence, hard work and ridiculous talent no matter what project he was on. For that (and his impeccably clean desk) he’s been promoted to Senior Designer.

Matt has been promoted to Designer. Matt is a true testament to hard work and perseverance. Matt's growth over the past year is directly tied to his ability to learn and grow with each project. Matt has been able to fine tune his design sensibilities for the interactive space. It’s his appreciation for the end user that has really made Matt's design work shine, as evidenced in his recent work for UL and Red Hat to name a few. A lot of praise comes directly from his project teams – he is a true team player. Matt has a great ability to adapt and change his design approach based on the needs of the project.

My drive and motivation to make a difference is something I pride myself on in my work. I worked to ensure that Harvard's online training program was delivered to potential viewers in the most clear and concise form possible. This was achieved through reducing the amount of text within each presentation, and providing visual cues to make the presentation more user-friendly. This new design scheme was implemented for all future courses to preserve a seamless, brand-driven approach.

Graphic Design Responsibilities: Created original designs for textile screen-printing, direct-to-garment digital printing, embroidery, laser-engraving, wide-format printing, cylindrical printing/specialty decorating, transfer production, and marketing collateral design. Crosstrained in the Direct-to-Garment department in order to understand the process and act as liaison for the graphic design and DTG production departments. Worked closely with the Production Manager on Specialty Decorating projects.Production Artist Responsibilities: Completed daily customer proofs for both in-house and third party vendor production. Set up production-ready artwork for each individual production method. Followed a standard operating procedure for each production method to ensure that customer orders were produced optimally and on time to build and strengthen TeamWorld’s strong customer relationships. Modified and enhanced customer artwork that did not meet the guidelines of production method standards. Re-worked low quality customer provided artwork.Clients include: American Hockey League, Binghamton Senators Hockey, Binghamton University, Bombardier, Channellock, Cognex, Franklin Pierce University, Le Moyne College, The Meatball Shop, Nalgene, Smokey Bones Bar & Grill, Wegmans

I work closely with the owner of a small design firm. I pick up projects to bridge the gap between deadlines and make sure that projects are completed successfully and on time. My last major project was work on a selection of editorial layouts for Southern Dream Weddings, a popular bridal magazine marketed in the deep south (FL, AL, GA, TN, MS, LA).
