I am a Certified Network Engineer, Cisco & Aruba, a Certified Security Engineer, Sophos & Fortigate Firewall and a Data Centre Technician. I have been working professionally in the I.T. field especially in the Enterprise Managed Service Provider (MSP) for over 4+ years, gaining hands-on experience in network design & deployments, network security, network engineering, network administration, routing & switching, wireless technology, next-gen firewall & endpoint deployment, cybersecurity, windows server & active directory administration, server & workstation computer virtualization with VMware ESXi.I have led a technical team of 2 to upgrade CHEP KZN Head Office switches from Cisco Catalysts 3750X and 3850 Series to Catalysts 9300 Series, just to name a few of the many projects.As much as I consider myself an engineer, I mostly assume the role of student in my daily routine, constantly learning new technology and looking for ways to apply it to my job.
