Matt Oliver has years of work experience in a few different fields, dating back since he was 14. He started out working in the warehouse department in 2017, loading and unloading trucks, helping with show floor setup, and creating brochures to advertise company products. Matt switched gears a little bit in the summer of 2019, working in the trade show set up department. For a week, he set up different booths for different flooring companies to advertise their products, networked with many potential buyers/clients, and analyzed show floor maps. He then did this same job in the summer of 2021, as well as the summer of 2022. Some skills that Matt Oliver possess are technological skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills. He has had classroom experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as computer science, and is familiar with many different forms of technology and software. Matt Oliver is a leader, but also an avid communicator and a great worker with teams. He can adapt quickly to changing work environments, and is very flexible. He is very coachable, and is good at accepting/receiving constructive criticism. Matt Oliver is now a junior at High Point University, and has 17 business related classes under his belt. He maintains excellence in and out of the classroom. Matt is always up for a new challenge, and is interested in learning. He is seeking full time opportunities in the commercial real estate, insurance, and/or investment banking worlds after graduation in May 2025, while looking at potential opportunities to attend graduate school elsewhere.
