Matthew managed the B2C Communications Planning & Reporting programme for EDF Energy as part of a centralised Transformation Office to provide a strategic overview and reporting of all Communications and engagement related operations. The role included establishment of a live planning and activity database to allow increased collaboration for the B2C Communicatins team and integrated MS Project planning capability.

Managed the deployment of cross functional business plan workstreams to enable delivery of the Central Quality function's business plan objectives for a global automotive manufacturer. Responsibilities included improving the Central Quality office’s ability to monitor, accelerate and escalate the deployment of global and regional quality initiatives towards best practice standards, leveraging Lean Six Sigma and agile delivery methods.

Programme management of business planning, executive governance and strategic communication on behalf of the Vice President of Quality at a global automotive manufacturer. Responsibilities included management of process improvement for both global and regional Central Quality office systems, setting best practices for standardised Quality performance tracking, to ensure the integrity, timeliness and efficiency of Quality reporting. Key responsibilities include management of business objective setting, organisational structuring, management of informed, aligned and agreed information flow through the Quality governance organisation, identification of key Programme / process opportunities, risks and issues. Obtained project and programme management qualifications (Managing Successful Programmes practitioner and PRINCE 2 practitioner) and Consultancy training (Flawless Consulting) to supplement practical experience of a Lean manufacturing and CxO level management environments.

Operating as project support for the global quality improvement process (GQIP) project at a Global automotive manufacturer to support the delivery of an Integrated IT system collating all available Quality performance data into a single database. The project aim was to allow standardised global analysis and reporting of Quality performance. Specific responsibilities included management of project plans, dependencies, governance restructuring, project reporting process improvement and identification of project risks, issues, lessons learned and development opportunities.

Responsibilities including extensive support for a portfolio of complex Criminal Justice IT integration projects through utilisation of Risks and Issues management, programme reporting, financial monitoring, project plan analysis, running Governance Boards and maintaining Programme level tracking documentation. The role includes management of the Security clearance process for all staff across the programme. This role has recently included temporary Project Management of an IT integration project linking systems between two Criminal Justice Organisations and a strong involvement in the OGC gateway reviews of mission critical multi-million pound projects preparation for CJIT, personally organising the interview process and providing broader support to the organisation of the Gateway review.
