Working for The Ray, I designed, managed, and led research on roadside right-of-way landscapes. Topics include slope stabilization methods, planting methodology for seeding perennial flowering meadows, and a pilot study of Kernza wheatgrass for carbon sequestration. I collaborated with projected partners to share the research wiht community, academic, and industry groups.

Working with Professor Brad Davis, in partnership with the Georgia Dept. of Transportation and The Ray, researching roadside right-of-way landscape design, maintenance, and operations. Full-time server on dynamic team at a new delicatessen in Boston named in the Top 50 Finalists for Best New Restaurants in 2017 by Bon Appetit magazine.

Performed plant health care functions: tree injection, root invigoration, scouting and other IPM tasks; also participated in equipment maintenance, record keeping, report writing, and customer relations. Worked as an arborist on tree crew driving and operating work trucks, chainsaws, and wood chippers.

Assisted Heritage Landscapes LLC with the development of the planning document 'Forest Lawn Landscape Renewal Plan.' Conducted a complete tree inventory of the 269 acre grounds and 3,300+ tree collection using Trimble and ESRI GRS and GIS hardware and software. Managed the implementation of the 'Plan' including visitor events, tree planting events, and volunteer groups. Presented lectures and tours for interpretation and community relations.

Superivsor of the Margaret Elisabeth Jonsson Color garden. This 6.5 acre display garden is home to the arboretum's azalea collection, Waterwise garden, and many large Crape Myrtles, flower beds, and sweeping lawns. I also maintained the Palmer Fern Dell, Texas Town, and Texas Pioneer Adventure; the latter which hosts over 80,000 area school children each year.

As a Conservation Associate at the Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation in Boston, MA I worked in the areas of Preservation Maintenance and Education. I participated in field projects and educational workshops across New England and the Mid-Atlantic.The Olmsted Center promotes the preservation of significant landscapes through research, planning, stewardship, and education, and accomplishes its mission in collaboration with a network of partners including national parks, universities, government agencies, and private nonprofit organizations.
