I led corporate strategy, operational transformation, and organizational development projects for corporate, federal, and state organizations. In each project, I worked with clients from CEO to frontline staff to develop consensus on business problems, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, shape recommendations, and implement required changes in strategy, operations, organization, and other areas. My experiences include leading transformations for a 1,500 person Fortune 50 technology sales organization, a 2,000 person federal agency, and a 300 person state agency. Each transformation improved operating performance and customer/citizen outcomes by redefining organizational structures, roles, operating processes, performance management systems and management practices to deliver on clearly-defined customer/citizen needs and continuously improve operations.

I developed high-level concepts for new, entrepreneurial ventures designed to diversify audiences and revenue sources for estate-based historic sites owned by the National Trust. Other work included proposing an internal entrepreneurial ventures fund and program to generate and develop innovative ideas from internal and external sources.

I led volunteer consulting teams composed of executive-level volunteers that advised public and private clients on real estate and land use issues; managed client relationships from marketing to completion. I also led ULI’s Place Making Conference.

Re-launched the organization, a special assessment support business improvement district charged with developing a historic neighborhood commercial district. I developed and implemented a revitalization strategy for a business district with 200 businesses and 300 properties.

Crafted turn-around plan, raised project and operating support, managed rehabilitation of two National Historic Landmark buildings, and initiated public-private adaptive reuse projects for historic buildings. for two buildings. Championed and secured funding for two landscape restoration projects to re-establish views between historic park buildings and the Schuylkill River.
