The primary mission of SCTCA is to serve the health, welfare, safety, education, cultural, economic and employment needs of its tribal members and descendants in the San Diego County urban areas. A board of directors comprised of Tribal Chairpersons from each of its member Tribes governs SCTCA.Directing The Tribal Digital Village Network, Providing IT Direction, and Network Technology Staff direction for a WISP spanning 650 miles of point-to-point and point-to-multi-point links supporting 100+ Tribal Municipalities, Schools, Fire Stations, Tribal Administration buildings, EPA departments, Resource Centers, and Libraries on 17 Federally recognized Native American Tribal Reservations.The network is Tribal owned and operated, all on Tribal land, and has 20 solar powered towers. Expansions and upgrades are actively being deployed
