Experienced leader, conservation professional, U.S. Army infantry veteran and wilderness guide. Upon completion of my military service, I moved to Alaska where I attained my undergraduate degree while working professionally as a wilderness and glacier guide. I conducted a career change from guiding to pursue conservation work, earning my Masters in Conservation Leadership studies at Colorado State University in Fall 2022. My most recent role was as a Water, Fiscal, and Conservation Policy specialist at the Utah Rivers Council where I worked in a range of roles, most specifically in government relations, community engagement, and communications. I am passionate about climate change, public lands, wildlife biology, and protecting and honoring the lands we live on.
