I work with small businesses, non profits, individuals, political candidates, community groups and small associations to build their online and real world presence. Services have included the development and planning of events, the creation of social media profiles, the establishment of contests to build awareness, strategic advice, photography work, website creation, database design/maintenance, media relations, volunteer recruitment, public communications and associated services. Some contracts are one off activities that take a few hours to complete while others have been ongoing, depending on the needs of the client.

Chelsea City Council is a part time position. My level of involvement varies depending on my schedule. Trademark Tours is a tour company in the Boston area focusing on Cambridge and Boston. The tours are the public Hahvahd Tour, Private Harvard Tour, MIT Tour and Freedom Trail tours. During my tenure I managed a complete overhaul of the ticketing system and scheduling operations. My tenure at Trademark Tours was cut short due to a severe decline in tourism following the bombing incident at the Boston Bombing. I maintain a great relationship with my former boss and colleagues and still offer strategic advice on a regular basis. Cultivated a social media strategy from scratch that resulted in over 20K Facebook Fans and over 10K Twitter followers.Updated the organization website on a daily basis and worked to increase web traffic by 400 percent. There were over 600,000 visitors to the site in 2012. Coordinated the collection of over 100K in membership dues and payments from vendors and sponsors.Organized the logistics for several major events a year and dozens of smaller events. The two largest events a year had 220 vendors and 100k visitors.Maintained a vast Filemaker database of members, vendors, government contacts and othersAttended association meetings and assisted members at the events.
