I am a professional engineer in the states of Illinois, West Virginia and Wisconsin. I am the State Conservation Engineer with USDA/NRCS. I work in the state office for NRCS in Champaign, IL. I am the administrator for the IL NRCS engineering team. I assist them in "getting conservation on the ground" by doing as much of the administrative work as possible. This includes updating Conservation Practice Standards, Engineering Field Handbook supplements and other guidance that is used in designing the many engineering practices that NRCS supports.Previously as the Agricultural Engineer, I worked on Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMPs), designs for manure storages, mortality composting facitilies, agrichemical plants and various other projects that are funded by NRCS.Specialties: environmental assessmentsdesign work for manure storages, buildings, composting facilities, manure transfer lines.design of water control devices such as water diversion and curb and guttering.able to do complete CNMPsdesign of ventilation for livestock buildings.
