SSVF provides a continuum of specialized housing services, case management, linkage to Veteran and mainstream benefits, temporary financial assistance, and other supportive services in order to address housing stabilization for Veterans and their families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Assisted in the development of full spectrum non-lethal operations as part of the Combined/Joint Task Force-76 (CJTF-76) Headquarters conducting combat operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VII in Afghanistan. Student, Maneuver Center of Excellence. The resident course is 22 weeks long and takes place in a small group setting. The POI is flexible and adapts to the needs of the Commander in the field. One such way we do that is by surveying current Battalion and Brigade Combat Team (BCT) Commanders. For example, it was identified, because of the current Army Force Generation Cycle, that training management was a shortfall in the Professional Military Education of captains coming to BCTs. As a result, a basis of understanding of training management is now taught in the course. The curricula forces on all types of operations that a company commander may be forced to operate in, from combined arms maneuver to wide area security missions.
