In my current role I am responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of IressNet, an in-house developed ETL (Extract Transform Load) system that imports client and portfolio data from various external providers and distributes it to other Iress applications such as XPlan (a financial planning application) and IPS (a portfolio management system).Agile methodology is used on all work items which are recorded in JIRA. The technology stack includes .NET C#, SQL Server, WCF, WPF, Python and AWS services.Some notable achievements are:- Implemented an automated build pipeline using TeamCity- Utilising AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, MSK (Kafka) and ECS to create microservices to implement request/response pipelines

I was responsible for maintaining and enhancing FundData, initially a desktop application written in Visual Basic with a SQL Server backend. The application was re-written as a web application using ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML, Javascript, JQuery and JQuery UI. The application was written as n-tier with Dependency Injection to endure loose coupling between the tiers.
