Directed the company on an approach using existing hardware on their zero gravity treadmill product on how to perform gait analysis using computer vision. Also wrote a POC in order to demonstrate the approach using Emgu CV and sample videos from the treadmill.

Developed windows services capable of receiving pharmacy claim transmissions at a high frequency, storing them in a SQL Server database, routing the claims to a claims processor, and return the response to the pharmacy. An individual service was created for the following protocols: TCP, VPN, SSL, Modem, PDX.Created an accounts receivable web application called e Recon. For the back end data, various warehousing and data cleansing techniques were used in order to have dynamic matching of the pharmacy claims to the PBM payments for 85 million and growing claims. Then, for the web application I used Entity Framework to map the database schema, MVC .NET as the web framework, Jquery and Jquery UI to provide a more dynamic user interface.Architected a pharmacy claims auditing solution called Rx Protect. The front end was comprised of a web application using the MVC .NET framework, Jquery, Jquery UI, and Blueprint CSS for the layout. I also used various other jquery add-ins in order to enhance the user experience. Since the audits of the claims would take around 7 hours to complete, I created a middle tier WCF service to separate the processing from web application hosting process. The Auditing engine is compromised of using the Microsoft Enterprise Validation Block along with the Unity block in order to allow quick injection of various claims sources and to chain together different combinations of validation rules stored in the database. Rx Protect has been a game changer for PPOK as no other company in the pharmacy industry has the ability to quickly audit so many claims while allowing the user to configure the audit rules.

Engineered a commercial DVR video surveillance system using an analog to digital capture card, .NET, and Windows XP Embedded. Development of the software required strict design principles in order to meet 24/7 up time and real time performance requirements. Used Intel Performance Primitives library to implement various computer vision algorithms on the live video stream (ex. Motion Detection, Facial Recognition, Missing Object) while storing the results in a SQLite database. Direct Show and Windows Media Foundation was used to sample and compress the video data. The client Windows application and server Windows service were written in C# .NET using the 2.0 framework.

Architected and developed a more stream line solution of importing acquisition documents into OnBase document management system. The solution was a Windows service that monitored dump folders on the network and imported the documents into OnBase using the available external API. Developed a web application that edits and manages loans used throughout the organization by numerous employees. The web application was developed in ASP .NET on the 2.0 framework and used SQL Server 2005 for backend storage.Educated the development team on web 2.0 technologies along with creating and implementing a solution to easily integrate AJAX into our .NET 1. 1 applications without having to quickly move to .NET 2.0.

Managed and co-developed a parts catalog importing, editing, and publishing system for the Boeing 767s and KC-135s IETEMS. SQL Server was used for data storage, ASP .NET for online editing of the catalog, and a Windows forms application for exporting and publishing the data to HTML and PDF using XSLTs. Analyzed and help finish development of the Clarinet Merlin Receiving System’s server side and client side software. The Clarinet Merlin System is actively used by the US Navy as a way for nuclear submarines that have reached crushed depth to send long wave frequencies from an alert buoy to Clarinet Merlin servers positioned at strategic locations around the world. The system runs 24/7 so memory, CPU, and network usage were optimized as much as possible. Both the server and client side software were written in C++ using the Windows Platform SDK, MFC, and Access for data storage.Upgraded AttEdit 2.0 from MFC to .NET along with adding extra functionalities and features. AttEdit is an XML editing tool that allows the user to create unique ID attributes for specified elements, a common need in IETEM publishing. The software was written in VB .NET using the 1.1 framework.
