Born and raised on a farm in Louisiana, Matthew is an architect with an appreciation for traditional building types, landscape design, and rural landscapes. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Matthew flew search and rescue missions as a helicopter pilot for 14 years. He later got married and moved to Iceland where he developed a strong interest in and study of contemporary Scandinavian design. Now a member of Arcadea, Matthew lives in South Boulder with his wife and two daughters.With a wide range of project experience, he is comfortable working on anything from high-end residential to highrise, commercial, and multi-family residential construction. He has expertise in working with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, and national development firms. He is always looking forward to bringing that experience to challenging projects to build great spaces and forge new relationships with the team.
