As a Training Specialist, I currently create and maintain training materials for various systems and applications. Through collaboration with stakeholders, I deliver various training sessions through Skype/Microsoft Teams or in person to enhance user’s abilities to perform their jobs efficiently. I plan and coordinate monthly training sessions, develop and distribute professional communications, and conduct user outreach to understand their needs. Additionally, I create, update, and validate end-user documentation and deliver instructor-led training and system demonstrations on a weekly basis. I also provide operational support by training end-users on various roles and functions, as well as perform outreach to increase the awareness and utilization of in-house developed tools and applications enterprise wide.

I provided technical support to all levels of end-users via phone, email, remote desktop, and Skype as a Tier II Help Desk Specialist. My responsibilities included creating and managing help desk tickets, triaging the help desk mailbox, and providing basic technical support. I ensured efficient escalation of issues to higher-tier analysts and engineers while gathering and documenting information from the end-users. In addition, I provided excellent customer support, prioritized High/Critical and VIP-related incidents, and participated in the evaluation and piloting of new products and services. While working as STAC Call Center Technician I provided technical support for security equipment, issued quotes and acquired funding for equipment and supplies. I collaborated with global security technicians to provide programmatic support to embassies and other State Department entities. With excellent communication skills, I maintained a solid relationship with customers and stakeholders. Finally, I identified and resolved common faults related to intrusion detection and preventative devices on C.Cure systems.

At Marriott, I played a crucial role in the opening of the hotel giant's 4000th property. I was responsible for creating startup processes and documents that elevated the department to its then-current level of operation. With a team of 23 officers, I oversaw payroll and attended weekly labor critique meetings with upper management. I conducted new hire orientation and quarterly safety training for the entire hotel, as well as maintained a training book and facilitated monthly department training. Additionally, I collaborated with the Events department to ensure client safety and security needs were met. My role included performing quality checks on all written reports of accidents/incidents, updating standard operating procedures, and keeping the department's equipment inventory up to date. I also worked closely with law enforcement agencies and other security personnel to assist in strategic planning for VIP visits and events. With my focus on coaching and developing officers, I completed and delivered LP Officers' yearly performance evaluations and assigned virtual training quarterly.

In my role as a Loss Prevention Detective, I assumed the responsibility for identifying, documenting, and rectifying instances of inventory shrinkage, property impairment, cash mishandling, theft, and fraudulent activities. Through analysis of business performance, I effectively deterred acts of theft and raised awareness of store loss prevention through regular monthly and quarterly training sessions.
